Remnants from the best weekend ever. No words could do it justice, so I'll let the pictures do the talking.
Yes, they did bring custom screen-printed cocktail napkins. And yes we did bring them and use them everywhere we went. They were quite the hit with the locals.
Spoon & Stable was a really amazing experience- great food and amazing design.
The Chick Chariot, or party bus, or "Minne Apple" was a great hit. It took about an hour to get the last mile to the stadium where Beyonce was performing- and we were essentially a moving dance party. By the time we reached the stadium- we had invited about 40 random people in to dance with us- and it was just unbelievable. So many new friends. And people kept saying "You guys are from Texas? Is everyone like this in Texas?" Ummm, kind of.
I've always liked Beyonce's music- but I've never been a die hard fan. Until I saw her show. It wasn't really a show as much as it was a movement. And I've seen lots of shows- but none like this. She is super human. It was SUCH a treat.
We were soooo sweaty. And tired. We basically danced from 4 pm when the party bus picked us up until 12:00 am when the show ended. I am still recovering.
And then when I would start missing the kiddos, I would get cute pics like this:
So happy they got to see my grandparents. And apparently sweet little Davis leaned over to my grandpa at the donut shop and said "Grandpa, I love you. I'm so happy I got to see you." He is so sweet. You know he was really thinking that, and wanted my grandpa to know.
I wanna do it again. I don't wanna go to work. I wanna go to BEYOOOOOONCE.
