As you can tell, I'm very excited for the weekend this week. Maybe so we can sleep late (if the beans allow it) or maybe because it's supposed to be in the high 20s this weekend (HEAT WAVE) or maybe because this is what my calendar looks like at work:
This is a blurry picture of my calendar and each line represents a meeting. Some days are so filled with meetings, they don't even fit in the square. HA. Today is the first day since starting that I don't have a SINGLE meeting. Nice way to ease into the weekend, I guess.
So we went to Chick Fil A last night and it was so much fun. I really like Lori and Davis and Holden were so sweet to her little boy, RJ, who is about 18 months. I'm glad we went.
The night before, we played and ate dinner after school and then I told them if they hurried and got in their pajamas, we could watch a little bit of a movie. Holden looked at me and said "Like pajama day?" (Sometimes at school they get to wear their pajamas and watch a movie and it's a super exciting thing). So I said "Yes, like pajama day!" And they got so excited, I couldn't even believe it. It became a THING somehow...because it's not totally atypical that we watch a little movie before bed. So that made me laugh. Here is a little picture of them:
Holden tells me she loves me all the time. "I love you mom." And I say "I love you Holden" and she looks at me and says "I love you MORE!" and thinks it's so funny. Which is exactly what I would say to my mom when I was little. :-) On the flip side, she has also gotten a little bossy these days. I guess it's the 3s kicking in. We will be mid conversation and she will shout "LISTEN TO MEEEEEE!" It's hard not to laugh.
So that's all I have today- I will try to get a lot of good pictures at the dinosaur exhibit tomorrow. I hope it's cool. Have a good weekend!
