Oh Bob.

We got to see Bob Schneider Friday night, here in Minneapolis, at The Varsity. OH MY GOSH, he did not disappoint. We had so much fun- the crowd was amazing and the venue was great. First we had dinner at this place called "Burrito Loco" in Dinkytown (this is the U of M campus area). Bennett ordered Ellie and I this Long Island Iced Tea fish bowl...about 30 minutes after he asked me to "really reign in it a bit tonight..." HA!

Anyway- the place was so for college kids. You order a pitcher- you get free fajitas. It was awesome. Not Texas Tex Mex awesome- but fun.

It was such a treat to hear him again. Bob and the Indigo Girls are probably my top two bands/musicians.

Then Saturday we met the Ohmes at the pool. It was gray and chilly and we felt silly for trying to stick it out- but the kids were having a great time so we stayed for a few hours.

This is Holden, explaining to me in a very dramatic manner, that the squirrel she just saw "HE RUNNED AWAY!" She is quite dramatic these days. Yesterday she was so crabby and at one point I looked at her and said "Holden, if you are going to act like that, you may go to bed." She looked right back at me, pointed her stubby little finger and said "Don't. Talk to ME!" Woah there, Sassy Pants.

Later Saturday, Davis asked me to help him look like Mr. Incredible, which included taping the tiniest ball to his shirt, with a black plastic toy piece, so he could have the "i" like Mr. Incredible...even though you couldn't see the ball, at all.

Before...

After...
His imagination is amazing.

Sunday we slept in a little bit- I KNOW! WE NEED TO GET BACK TO CHURCH ALREADY...

And then we went to Ellie's for Sierra's 1st birthday party. Good times all around.
