Cootie Bugs.

Today I noticed that Davis didn't change into the underwear I had laid out for him with his clothes, and I said "Davis- why didn't you change your underwear?" He told me he liked the ones he had on...and so I said "But you have to change them..." and then I paused and said "or you will get cootie bugs."

He looked at me wide-eyed and said "WHAT?" "Yeah, cootie bugs, I said. They start to live in your underwear when you don't change them, and they bite your bootie. Cootie bugs..."

He paused and said "Oh no..." with a look of distress, so I quickly followed it up with "But you don't have them yet. If you take them off now and change your underwear every day, you will be fine..." He quietly took his pants off to change them and then looked at me and said "MOM. That was a close call."

I am certain that he will bring this up at school today- so that will make for an interesting conversation. You gotta do what you gotta do.

I don't have much to say or share today...Bennett is sick and both kids were up many times last night which leads me to believe that they are getting I'm just bracing for it.

Also, it is snowing here today. Not the kind that will stick to the ground, but it's still white out. It doesn't bother me so much. I'm just glad I haven't planted anything yet. Have I told you about my garden plans?

I'm totally going to have a green thumb come May. I'll do a post on that later. I'm just not in the mood today. Pretty tired, actually.

Better post tomorrow!

And don't forget to change your underwear!
