12 degrees here today in sunny Minneapolis. Yikes. Time to dig out my Canadian Goose down gloves. Kids are at school and I am working on a research project for a client.

I had SO much fun last night hanging out with Krissy, her sister Alli (they are 15 months apart) and Krissy's best friend, Gretchen. They are so fun and so down to earth and I really laughed and felt like I was amongst real friends. It felt so nice. We are going to try to get together monthly for dinner or trivia or something. I left, walking a couple blocks to my car in the ice, feeling very warm on the inside. Thankful for the people I have met.

Tonight we will pick Bennett up at 6:30! Yahoo! I hope we will put a fire in the fireplace and watch a good movie or something. Hope you have a great weekend too.

Here are some pictures Davis' teachers sent me this week.

It's so fun to see and hear about how much kids love to play in the snow. They don't mind the cold at all. Good thing- they get plenty of it here! :-)

On a field trip to see "lots of grandmas and grandpas" as Davis would say, at the neighboring senior citizen home. Davis is in the front row!

Davis and his dad at drop off! That's all for now. Have a good one. OOOH! I ordered Christmas cards yesterday, I cannot wait to send them out.
