Chutes and Ladders.

Well this week has been sort of lame so far. Everyone has a cough and feels a little less than their best, but especially little D. I kept him home on Tuesday thinking that maybe we could nip it in the bud, and then I was out sick yesterday, and I got a call at 4:00 from school saying Davis had a fever, so he is home again today, but with Bennett. I just hope he feels better for Halloween tomorrow. AND, they have a visit to the senior citizens center just down the street from their school, and I'd like for him to go to that. He tells me that he visited with "a lot of grandmas and grandpas". :-)

It's sort of gray here too, so it's a little bit of a bummer and a reminder of winter coming. Blech. We had a great long stretch of fall though, so I'm thankful for that. And I'm just going to take my Vitamin D and make the best of it. It's all you can do, right? That or move...

Anyway, as mentioned, we tried out a new park on Sunday, called Chutes and Ladders. It was awesome and I wish we knew about it during the summer. Davis looked at me and said "Mom. This park is amazing..."

This weekend is supposed to be much colder, so I'm glad we made the most of the weather while we could. In fact, tomorrow night is supposed to be the coldest of the season so far, which really isn't saying much. Ha. The Ohme's are having some people over for appetizers, drinks and then trick or treating tomorrow, so the kids will love that, then the big boys are going out to hear a band downtown, and so Sarah and I are having lunch and getting our nails done on Sunday in exchange. :-) We also have their first gymnastics class Saturday, so it should be a fun weekend.

More tomorrow!
